An alternative economic model

In order to stay as free and creative as possible, we are exploring alternative ways to finance our activity. All those who value our approach and want to see it grow are free to contribute.

We are passionate about this project. It utilizes our skills and aligns with our interests and philosophy. We are fully committed to its success and for that, money has to remain just a means to an end.

Contributing to the project can mean donating money (through our crowdfunding campaigns) but it can take many other forms: lending us a hand, skill-based volunteering (web development or translation for example), donating food and non-food items and much more. Ideally, we want to avoid spending money by procuring everything we need from the contributions made by those who support us.

On this page, you’ll find the list of our needs (material and skill-based).

Crowdfunding

We call out to all our suporters, for each episode,
via our crowndfunding campaigns. The money we raise goes toward our production costs: fuel, materiel, insurance, ect.

All expenses of the project are here. Ask if you have any question.

The transparency of our budgets is a given, that is why you’ll find the detail of SideWays’ income and expenses here.
